On behalf of our team Hridaya in our headquarters in Mazunte, Mexico, we now aim at a greater goal of opening another center somewhere in Europe so we can share the tenets and many benefits of Hridaya Yoga teachings to lovely European citizens. Creating another community much like what we already have in Mexico is a way for us to not just integrate the residential surroundings for an inclusive, harmonious, sustainable development but also provide outsiders and other passersby, an opportunity to experience spiritual awakenings, consciousness of oneness, yoga and meditation all in one.
In part, we will use the name “Ramana Village – Meditation Land” as a codename for this project and eventual name of the center. This honors Ramana Maharshi, master of non-duality.
For all these to be accomplished, we will need all the help we could muster from the local Hridaya communities and generous sponsors elsewhere in finding ideal locations and financial assistance, especially with construction phase.
We eye locations in Portugal in Algarve, Alentejo or some northern place but again, we are very welcoming of any possibilities of establishing a center anywhere in Europe. Ultimate decision will always lie in honor of Hridaya teachings and not personal preferences.
Therefore we humbly ask for you, readers of this letter to help support our aspirations and that may you share the same enthusiasm and vision we have for this large-scale project. Every amount will matter and greatly appreciated.
Please bear in mind though that as we seek an extension of our home in Mexico, we assure you that we will never leave behind the residential ashram we have already built in there. The usual attention to details and care to all regulars and newcomers in our Mazunte Center are never left behind, along every step of the way.
